You don’t have to stay for the entire session – even an hour of your time would make a valuable contribution to the Yarra Valley Park environment.
On the day: Bring your own drinking water, and maybe some nibbles for yourself. You will need old clothes and sturdy shoes, gardening gloves, a parka, hat and sunscreen, and a water bottle. Wear long pants. You may also like to bring insect repellent.
Maybe stay afterwards and join us for a chat and BYO cuppa.

Wednesday Mornings – Westerfolds Manor Native Garden, in Westerfolds Park, Templestowe

Most Wednesdays, anytime between 8 am to 12 Noon. You don’t have to be there for the entire session, just for what suits you.
Come and see many different native species and help with planting, weeding, mulching and pruning.
BYO thermos and nibbles for morning tea.

Sunday 24 November 2024 – 10 am to 12 Noon – Walk at Glynns Reserve, North Warrandyte (Mel 23 A10)

We will take a pleasant walk near the Yarra where we worked decades ago. The walk ends across the river from the tunnel at Pound Bend. Bring a picnic for lunch afterwards if you wish. Bring a folding chair.
This activity will not be on ParkConnect. Just come along.
End of year BBQ, Wednesday 4 December 2024 – from 6.30pm – Westerfolds Park, Templestowe
BYO everything. BBQ and shelter provided. The BBQ will go ahead even if it is raining. Enter Westerfolds Park from Fitzsimons Lane (Mel 33 G2), and then follow the signs to the Eucalypt Picnic Area, Swamp gum carpark (Mel 33 F1) at what3words location https://w3w.co/also.case.these

Committee meetings are usually on the 4th Thursday of the month at 7.30 pm in the Meeting Room at Westerfolds Park (Mel 33 F1).
